Important information

There is no running water in our cabins, however, they are all situated near a water source : lacs, rivers, or streams. You will also find many streams along the trail. We recommend treating the water, either by filtering it, by using water treatment tablets, or by boiling the water for ten minutes. In the winter you have to make a hole in the ice with an axe or melt the snow.

When hikers choose the deluxe package, drinking water is provided by the Traversée with the transport of their luggage and their food.

Each group, in an autonomous fashion, must bring:

  • dish towels
  • scrubbing sponge
  • toilette paper
  • matches and fire-starter or newspaper
  • sleeping bag

If you would like to stay in any of these cabins without doing the thru-hike, it is possible to book within a period of 48h or less before the desired date. Call us to book.
