Traversée of the Orignac in winter (available as of winter 25-26 only)

  • The winter excursion runs from late December to late March and is carried out exclusively on skis. Nordic skis are recommended. Classic cross-country skis, touring skis or even Hok skis (snowshoe skis) are not recommended.
  • Skins are strongly recommended for both steep ascents and descents (rental available).
  • The use of a sled is also not recommended. The type of terrain makes its use very difficult, if not impossible.
  • Snowshoes are only allowed in exceptional cases at the beginning and end of the season when conditions are not favorable for skis.
  • As we cannot guarantee skiable conditions all winter long, you will have to adapt your equipment according to our recommendations. Climate change is more and more present each year, and we need to be resilient.
