Day hikes

Our day hiking trails are all connected to our main trail. Many of these trails are located on the territory of Zec des Martres. With lengths ranging from 5 to 16 km, these loop trails will offer breathtaking views and allow you to discover the high peaks of Charlevoix!

CONTRIBUTIONS : 7 $ per person

A suggested daily contribution of $7 per person is recommended for trail usage. You can pay on-site at the trailheads, at our visitor center, or online. Help us maintain the trail network by contributing!

Day hiking trails are marked in yellow and green.

Dogs on a leash are welcome (beware of porcupines!). Please remember to pick up and carry out dog waste; do not leave it on the trail, even if it’s in so-called biodegradable bags.

Trash bins, recycling bins, and compost bins are available at our office at 135 Rang Saint-François.

Winter

A network of trails totaling over 60 km of abundant snow.
Don’t forget your snowshoes! (Available for rent at our reception)
During winter, you’ll need to park your car at the parking lot located 4 km from our cabins and trails (the trail is often snowed in until the end of May).
Enjoy the snow from mid-December to mid-April!

Accomodations

Would you like to extend your time in Charlevoix’s backcountry? Our rustic cabins located near the trailheads will allow you to enjoy a well-deserved rest after your day of hiking! Parking is just a few hundred meters from our cabins. Stay for one or more nights and discover a different trail every day!
