Booking

A valid credit card is required for all bookings. 100% of the total amount of the overnight stays is due upon reservation. All refunds will be made according to the conditions listed below:

Modifications or cancellations of a booking

You have 24h after your booking to cancel or modify your reservation without charge. For all modifications1 or cancellations of a booking, you must contact customer service at 418-639-2284 or by email at: traversee@sentiersquebecccharlevoix.com. We will be happy to respond to your request as follows:

MORE THAN 30 DAYS BEFORE THE START OF YOUR TRIP

* Modification1 of a booking: 10$ fees for each modification (date, lengths, participants)

* Cancellation of a booking: a $25 fee will be charged.

FROM 30 TO 8 DAYS BEFORE THE START OF YOUR TRIP

* Modification1 of a booking: for changing the date2 (same length of trip), 25% of the total amount of your overnight stays and the registration fee will be charged in fees, or a minimum of $25 will be charged3. For a downgrade4 (number of participants, length of the trip), 50% of the difference will be charged in fees, or a minimum of $25 will be charged3.  There are no fees for upgrades (number of participants, length of the trip). 

* Cancellation of the booking: fees corresponding to 50% of the total amount of the overnight stays and the registration fee, or a minimum of $25 will be charged3

7 DAYS OR LESS BEFORE THE START OF YOUR TRIP AND DURING YOUR TRIP

* Modification1 : no date changes and no downgrades possible. 

* There are no fees for upgrades (number of participants, length of the trip). 

* Cancellation: no refund or credit will be given for unused overnight stays. 

* Abandon: no refund will be made unless la Traversée de Charlevoix believes that this is a case of force majeure, justifying the granting of a credit equal to the unused amount for a future booking.


1 What constitutes a modification: changing the date, changing the duration of the trip, changing the number of participants.

2 Only one date change is possible per booking. The second change of date will be considered a cancellation. The new dates must be within the following 12 months. 

3 The highest of the two amounts. 

4 Number of participants not applicable in the case of a downgrade for the holiday cabins, only for the length of the trip. 


Note A: The complementary services of a booking of accommodation (vehicle transfer, food drop-off, luggage transportation) have their own cancellation policy. The other products (daily pass, maps, products of the shop) will be 100% refundable in the case of cancellation. 

Note B: In the case of a cancellation following the changing of dates, applicable charges will be processed according to the shortest notice period made between the new and the old booking dates. 

Note C: The fees are only applied on the base rate (2 people) in the case of a holiday cabin.

Note D: Note that it is possible to transfer a booking to another person at all times and without any additional fees.
