Important information
This chalet is poorly insulated and can be difficult to heat in extremely cold weather. The Lac à l’Écluse area is often windy, and with the winds, the chalet becomes extremely challenging to heat. If you absolutely want warmth, it’s better to rent another chalet during the cold periods this winter (January – February). Note that no refunds will be given for lack of insulation. It’s a poorly insulated and cold chalet in winter. We prefer to warn you 😉
There is no running water in our chalets or shelters, but they are all located near bodies of water: lakes, rivers, streams. La Traversée recommends treating the water, either by filtering it, using specific disinfectant products, or boiling it for ten minutes.
You must take all your waste with you. Before booking, please familiarize yourself with our booking policy.
