Our rustic cabins
La Traversée de Charlevoix also offers several rustic cabins where you can stay alone or in a group.
Three cabins are located on the Zec des Martres in the Lac à l’Écluse area, and two are in the Mont du Dôme area. They allow you to fully enjoy an array of outdoor activities in both summer and winter.
Two more smaller rustic cabins are available: the Boudreault Shelter, located at the foot of Mont des Morios, and the Prophètes Shelter with its breathtaking view of the Malbaie River.
These authentic furnished log cabins are all equipped with a wood stove, propane stove, tableware, solar or propane lighting, and sleeping mats. All of which allow you to travel light.

Activities
In summer, the main activity is hiking, while in winter, you can enjoy snowshoeing or Nordic skiing. Take advantage of our network of over 75 km of daily hikes, ranging from 5 to 20 km.
In the height of summer, you can also take advantage of the surrounding lakes to cool off.
The Zec des Martres also offers various types of watercrafts for hire (canoe, paddleboard). We invite you to visit their website for more details.
The National Park of the Grands-Jardins is also just a few minutes’ drive from our cabins in the Zec des Martres area.
The refuge the Boudreault, meanwhile, gives you direct access to the Mont des Morios (to get there, you’ll need to pay your membership card to the association of Plein Air Pied-des-Monts who manages the trail).
Finally, the cabin the Prophètes is 5 km from the Hautes-Gorges-de-la-Rivière-Malbaie park shuttle and 8 km from the Acropole des Draveurs trailhead.
